Memorial Day.
We headed to "The Bush" for Memorial day. We spent the day boating, tubing, eating, soaking up the sun, and oddly enough... watching Pawn Stars on the History Channel. Lyla played in her pool and took her first boat ride on the Bush. She was less than thrilled. She did not enjoy being in her life vest. She didn't cry, she just kinda sat there with a look on her face that said, " I have no idea why I am trapped in this, I can't move, I may throw up, I'm having flashbacks of my winter coat and my mom wants to take pictures of this... seriously mom?"
I did think it was pretty funny!

Our Weekend.
On Saturday our community had a yard sale... we joined in and were pretty successful. I am most proud of how wonderful our attic looks! We got rid of so much junk. Eric on the other had may define success differently...by clearing out our attic, I sold all the stuff that Eric had around our house when I moved in.... take SCARFACE for example. Sorry Eric, "Say goodbye, to your little friend."

Only Lyla would get a tan line from her headband!

Sunday, Lyla and I had a baby shower to go to. Check out the cute diaper cake Katie and I made for baby Ella!

(Lyla wanted to help)

Bed Time.
Sometimes, this little girl is SO silly at bedtime! Her new favorite thing is sticking her foot right in Eric's face and saying 'stinky' (well, she says 'in-ky' and waves her hand in front of her nose)! She KNOWS she is funny.

Big Kiss.
Tonight before bed, Lyla put her hands on my cheeks, pulled me close to her face, and gave me a BIG KISS, for no good reason at all. I LOVED it! Good Night. xoxo

Garden Tea Party.
More like, Eric & I wanted to finish our gardening today, and Lyla wanted to have a tea party. Majority of the morning and afternoon, Madelyn kept Lyla SO happy. They had a blast, and we got finished. Thank you Maddie! Lyla just loves you.

Gunpowder State Park.
Today we took advantage of the beautiful weather and Lyla's new bike trailer. We went to Gunpowder and had a picnic under the pavilion, biked around the park and played on the playground.
Eric spent a couple hours this week hooking up the bike racks to the roof of his car (thanks!) and figuring out how to attach Lyla's new trailer to my bike (it doesn't attach to his, or so he says....?)!
She really wasn't that heavy to pull at all... now next summer, he may have to figure out how to attach it to his bike.
Lyla loved riding. Her trailer is huge. She had her 'laptop,' 'ipod,' "Brown Bear, Brown Bear," and her 'Baby' (aka Beebee/Meemee) with her. She just relaxed and enjoyed the weather and her toys. We thought she was so cute when we took a break by the water. Eric was reading and I was playing around with the camera, and Lyla just layed back in her trailer, quite content, for a good ten minutes... until she noticed the big playground we had parked her next to!
