Happy Fall, Ya'll.
I love this time of year. The weather is perfect. Leaves are starting to change color. We can keep the windows open all day in our house, and drive with them down in the car. Caramel Apples are everywhere, and SO good! And.... (drum roll, please) the Ho ho  holidays are right around the corner!

This week, Eric and I ventured to Atlantic City with my dad and Marti for our, "Third Annual- Christmas Shopping Trip." I am not exactly sure how this started... actually, I'm pretty sure it had something to do with my dad and Eric conning us into the 'outlet shopping' in A.C. Suggesting that it would be a great way to... start the holidays, we would all get to spend time together, and we would save money by shopping at outlets.
You don't think they had anything up their sleeves right?  Like... a little blackjack, Caribbean stud, roulette... on top of of few drinks? NO, not my husband and especially, not my Daddy! (wink)

Well, regardless of the fact that each year the men spend less time shopping with Marti and I, and more time in the casino, we still had a great time. This year, we found some amazing deals and our Christmas shopping is off to a great start.

And for those of you who are not in the Christmas spirit just yet... Halloween is seriously right around the corner and I am starting to work on Lyla's costume. She is going to be an 'indian' this year, "Lylahontas."
Here are some pictures of the little princess at the park today. She is something else!

A Year & A Half. When someone asks me how old Lyla is, I feel like she is getting so big when I answer, "A year and a half." As opposed to 16, 17, 18 months. Soon I will just say, 2, 3, 4...
Anyway, Lyla had her 18 month 'well' visit with Dr. Bucci. She is 31 inches tall and 22lbs.
One of the cutest things she is saying right now is, "good girl!" (she likes to tell herself when she does a good job)!
