Ready for some Fun?
Beyond the Castle walls....
It's the kingdom for kids,
Dutch Wonderland!

We had a really, really good time in Lancaster over the weekend. We stayed at a sweet little hotel, with great scenery, an adorable bakery and fun pools.
Dutch Wonderland was awesome. Not too hot, not too crowded, and Lyla had a blast!
She will get on ANY ride. She is fearless. She wishes she was taller.

Why wait in line when you can ride a fire hydrant?!

We made sure to give kisses under the bridge
when we took our Gondola Ride!

Taken at my request... the littlest things make me happy!

We got on nearly every ride we could, and never waited too long.
We later realized it was because everyone was at the water park!

The only complaint we have about our trip... is the food.
I'm not sure that Lyla's chicken nuggets were fully cooked. She ordered them for lunch.
Eric wasn't thrilled about his lunch either. We thought that maybe it was because we grabbed a quick meal in the cafe. So, for dinner we went to the "Grand Opening" of Merlins.
Apparently there are a couple different Merlins floating around....
(In Disney, there is only ONE of each character per park.... just sayin')
Anyway, the atmosphere was that of a cafeteria.
The food and service, so-so.

Our Merlin experience got us all into the giggles.

We weren't given a pen to sign our check... we didn't want to wait another 20 minutes to get one. Eric signed the check with an orange crayon. His face sums up our dinner.

Other than the food, we had a great time.
We will be back.

Our Busy Bee has added yet another extra-curricular activity to her list:
Swimming Lessons.

Marti is a member of the YMCA, and when she saw they offered a swim class for children,
she asked if she could sign Lyla up..... to which we answered, of course!

She is an Eel. She splashed, she paddled, she jumped. She blew bubbles.
She went under. We panicked. She came back up.

Overall, I think she really enjoyed it. She made new friends and on
the way home said she wanted to go back next week. Move over Michael Phelps.

Here are some pics. from Gymnastics this week:

And some cute Ballet pics.

The girls tried their recital costumes on in class this week....
Lyla isn't sure how she feels about it.
She is however excited for the big show.
