Our annual dinner at Red Robin to celebrate Lylas birthday!

 She was spoiled rotten with La La Loopsy gifts.
Dolls, clothes, and even Easter goodies! A smile was glued on her face throughout the night.

Thanks Aunt Laura... you are loved, a whole lot!!

Red Robin throughout the years:

Our weekend started with a trip to Dunkin Donuts. I seriously think they should make a gluten free donut. However, I don't see that happening any time soon.

Then we were off to the annual Egg Hunt in our community.

Lyla won the coloring contest!! I'm not kidding. Yes, our neighbors are starting to give us dirty looks (we win a lot of events in our hood)!

Congrats Ly! {You can't see her entire pic.- she colored her bunny gray, and the flowers and eggs were full of color}

The Easter Bunny made an appearance. Lyla told Eric that he was not the "real" Easter Bunny. She could see his neck, as well as his sneakers. Eric explained to her that he is very busy this time of year and has "helpers."

We pay annual dues in our community- maybe some funding should help get us the "real" bunny next year (wink)!

Lyla and MaKenzie:

 Later in the evening, we went out to dinner with Faith, the birthday girl!

We also went to the Lyric and saw, Peter Pan!!! It was awesome! Lyla loved every second of it. She was literally on the edge of her seat the entire show.  {The use of cameras were prohibited, I tried to sneak a pic. or two, but they didn't turn out so well}

Sunday we went to Church and came home with some pretty cool Palms.

We found out our church needed some more eggs for their hunt next weekend, so Ly and I spent the afternoon filling some with goodies.

We had a great weekend full of Springtime events. We woke up to this:

 On Friday, Lyla completed her Tots 3 Gymnastics program!

I remember when she started Tots 3, I was sad because I no longer participated with her (like I did when she was in the Mommy and Me program). She didn't mind. She was ready to tackle Gymnastics on her own. She is confident, focused and enjoys every minute of her classes.

We are proud. She has another medal to add to her collection. In two weeks she starts the Tots 4 program. Time is flying by.

Hello March!

This month is always fun for our family- and it started off with a quick trip to Atlanta.
Lyla and I flew down for a couple of days to meet Sasha (Marti's son Steve's, daughter).

She is a sweetheart!

She resembles her father.

Lyla loves her- and I love this pic. Nudey Beauties.

Since we were in Georgia, we got to visit Allison, Beth, Kelly and kids.
The girls had a great time together!

 Lyla also had a great time hanging out with her Uncle Steve. Over the weekend they did some art work with sparkles and made pretty awesome bird feeders.

 Sasha is strong little girl- holding her head up and pushing off of her belly- she is just 2 months!

I was snapping some pics. of Sasha, (not wanting to be forgotten) Lyla had to show her how to 'pose.'

We watched Tangled Sunday night...

and Steve told Lyla when the movie was over, they could release Lanterns, just like they do in the movie! She was in heaven- until they disappeared into the night sky. Then she had a mild panic attack. She is so emotional.

 Marti is one happy grandmother.

We couldn't leave without getting a picture of Sasha with Makenna.

I think my favorite part of the trip was seeing Maria as a mom. She is amazing. Sasha is a lucky girl.
